top legitimate ways to make money with , an online business what's up guys Jason , here aspiring entrepreneur are showing , everything I'm doing to build online , business and consulting practice from , scratch from A to Z and in this episode , I'm going to be talking about the top , legitimate ways to make money on line so , let'just jump right in so way number , one is with online course and by the , way all of these are going to be , legitimate and gimmick free there's no , get-rich-quick you know silly stuff here , so that's why there's only three of them , and I'll get to why I chose these three , in a second with an online course , essentially what you're doing is you are , packaging your knowledge into a digital , product so that digital products could , take the form of a membership site maybe , you're going to put together kindle , book which technically USN't an online , course but it has to do with selling , information so essentially that's what , Otis you're selling information that's , kind of a big thing however with selling , information you ha veto know that the , trend is downward and the free line is , moving that means the information that , you sell needs to be more valuable or , you're going to have to give more of it , because more and more people are taking , information that used to be paid and , providing it free of charge just think , of the last time you saw a blog post , that was three or four thousand words , long something like what meal to tell , has been doing where he's taking content , that used to be paid and he's giving it , away for free and moving that free line , away from the low dollar stuff and Hiss , lot of the big guys now are using , webinars to sell really high-end ticket , items so definitely keep that in mind if , you want to package information this is , number two we have freelancing and this , is essentially like being self-employed , so you're taking something that you , already know how to do or maybe you're , going to go learn a new skill and you're , going to go to Linked In and find your , ideal customers or you're going to go to , a place like up worker up work or , freelance or guru or designs whatever , the platform is , and essentially offer your services a , great way to figure out if you have a , marketable service is to go over to , fiber now you're not going to make money , but it's going to be a great way to , validate your skill set and your ideas , and your ability to communicate those , ideas in terms of marketing yourself on , Fiver so finally number three is , consulting and you'll notice we're going , up the ladder in terms of your time , commitment per customer and revenue per , customer so with consulting essentially , what you're doing is you're selling your , expertise and I don't say time because a , lot of consultant get stuck in this , thing we're very sell their time and , they have you know coaching sessions or , consulting sessions but then that kind , of limits how many customer sour clients , you can service so a great way to be a , coach or consultant is to sell results , so as with the online course you're , taking all the information you have in , your head you're putting it in , essentially a glorified manual and then , you're selling it to hopefully hundreds , if not thousands of people with coaching , you're doing the coaching or consulting , you're doing the same thing you're , taking that information but instead of , just writing it all down or recording , bunch of videos like this one you'll be , taking that information and applying it , specifically to your client so your , client to get all the information within , a course and they get your personal , insight into how to best apply it in , their situation and of course with that , personalized approach and customized , approach you get to charge a higher , price so typically when you're just , getting started or if you're looking to , say which one that might make you the , most money in the long run the , consulting will definitely be something , that you'll want to gravitate towards to , get the ball rolling the fastest now , there is a big caveat with all three of , these things and it's something many , first-time Internet entrepreneurs forget , and that is you ha veto be good at , something you have to be able to provide , more value than everybody else otherwise , you're going to be stuck in this endless , loop of trying to get customers trying , to get clients trying to get people to , listen to you you'll read all this , social media blog post you'll read how , to do Facebook ads you'll go market , yourself and it feels like just nobody , wants to nobody wants to hire you as a , freelancer nobody wants to purchase your , course or people you talk to on the , phone to close is great consulting your , coaching clients just go maybe'll , think about it i'll get back to you and , then they never do and this happens , because many entrepreneurs have failed , to address that critical first step , which is determining what their unique , skill is look to market yourself online , to be successful online in an offline , you have to have a skill that you can , become better at than everybody else and , once you hone in on the skill you don't , have to be best at it now but eventually , you need to choose one skill one area to , specialize in become that specialist , become that expert work your way to that , and as you focus in on that one , particular skill or expertise whether , you choose to do a course work as a , freelancer or be a consultant becomes , gravy mean it becomes something that , you get to decide and when you have that , power of decision you get to choose how , to best deliver that value and skill you , have to your clients or customers so you , get to choose whether or not you're , going to take your value in your skill , and put it into video course or write , a book or just do the work for your , clients and customers and work as a , freelancer or come alongside your , clients as a coach or consultant and , just a quick tip a great way to sell , freelancing and consulting is to create , a very miniature version of a book or , course on the front end to attract , people to you and that is what I , currently do and what I'm all about so , thank you for
